If you are looking for a Real Estate Professional, then Gary is your man. I bought a home using his services back in October of 2014. Usually don't wish for a power outage but I'm thankful the day I went looking for a Realtor, the power was out in Fallon. I went to a couple other companies but they all had signs on the door that said "Sorry, closed due to the power outage" I drove by Gary's business, the lights were out but he was in. He apologized for the lack of power and that he couldn't show us everything without a computer, but was happy to help us with what he could. He impressed me from the start. As this was our first home purchase, I was glad he walked us through every step. After we closed and accepted the keys, what impressed me the most was that he still took care of us with no more financial incentive to do so. He not only personally fixed a few things the home inspector missed during his inspection, but he came out to my house to turn off my outside water system before winter hit and then returned before spring to turn them back on. Now that's customer service. Thanks Gary!
Gary is the best... My story: I flew out to Fallon, NV from D.C. after my renters had to leave in a hurry (both rentors and I are Active Duty military), and i didn't have a plan. My flight stopped in Salt Lake City, where i cold-called Gary Troxel based on a referral from a friend. The next day, Gary showed up at my house in Fallon--keep in mind he didn't know me and i didn't know him, and he knew i was in extremis since i only had a few days to do something with my now vacant rental. I told him we were willing to either rent it or sell it. The previous night i slept on the floor, and Gary noticed that, so he went home and brought me back an air mattress, sheets, pillow and blankets...and some disposable dishes. I told him i was going to fix up the place some and paint the walls. Without asking, he brought over painting supplies. I was having trouble getting the new paint to match the existing wall colors, so he and his wife (99% of the painting expertise came from his wife) came over and gave me several hours of instruction on how to blend the colors to make it match perfectly. After several days of helping me get my rental house ready to sell/rent, i had to fly back to D.C. At this point, i still haven't signed any paperwork committing Gary as my realtor. Before i left, he brought over the paperwork, gave me what he thought the house would sell for (I thought was high, but he was spot on), and then i flew back to D.C.
Gary kept in constant contact with me, told me about multiple offers and rental inquiries the next week or so. He made selling the house soooo Stress-Free. Gary and his wife are the most honest and trustworthy people i have ever met in the Real Estate business, and we have moved 11 times so far in my career. Like i said at the beginning, Gary is the best!!
I couldn't recommend Gary highly enough as a real estate agent! Gary helped me buy a home in Jan of 2015 and made the process as smooth as possible. While looking for a home, Gary understood what I wanted and showed me multiple properties. His local knowledge of the area is unsurpassed and was able to tell me not only about the area that each home was located but, on multiple occasions, who built it and the contractors reputation. I work long and sporadic hours yet Gary made himself available around my schedule. When I found the home I wanted he had all the documents ready to go that day so we could make an offer without delay. As a first time home buyer Gary was able to explain all the paperwork thoroughly and made the whole experience a pleasurable one.
